Integral Spiral Blade Stabilizer

Integral Spiral Blade Stabilizer is designed to control hole deviation, prevent differential sticking and minimize dogleg severity and thus provide optimum drill bit's performance. It is divided into Integral 3-Spiral Blade Stabilizer, Integral 4-Spiral Blade Stabilizer. The unitized construction features three spiraled ribs designed to minimize downhole torque, reduce damage to the hole wall and ensure maximum fluid circulation. The IBS is well suited for use in most formations from soft and sticky to hard and abrasive. It is available in both bottom-hole and string designs, providing the flexibility to run it anywhere in the BHA. The Integral Blade Stabilizers manufactured from high-strength alloy steel as a single piece tool. Fully heat treated, their strength, hardness and impact strength are attained to standard.

There are four kinds of abrasive resistant materials on the working surface of stabilizer: insert tungsten carbide buttons, insert diamond compound body, low temperature welding tungsten carbide pieces, hard facing electrode on the surface and so on.
