BPE also produce non-magnetic drilling tools in accordance with API 7-1, GOST and NS-1, made from low-carbon high-chromium-manganese alloy steel, which can achieve the required mechanical properly after rigorous refining and chemical composition by forging. Non-magnetic materials have low permeability, high mechanical capability, excellent intergranular corrosion cracking resistance, and better wear resistance.

With the unique materials chemical composition, strict process and inspection procedure control, BPE developed its own non-magnetic grades, PM510, PM530, PM 550, all of which perfectly meet the requirements on accuracy, performance, hardness, magnetic permeability and intergranular corrosion resistance.
